Steele Wines
Regulatory Compliance, Monitoring Well Network Design, Installation & Sampling
Project Description
Discharge to land of pomace wastes from the production and preparation of wine created regulatory concern for the potential of shallow groundwater degradation. H&A was retained to address California Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board concerns.
H&A's services included the preparation of groundwater monitoring well work plans, installation of monitoring wells, sampling and analyses, and technical reports.
H&A evaluated groundwater constituents and hydrogeological data in compliance with waste discharge requirements. Through these services, Steel Wines has been able to remain in full compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a viable business.
