Project Description:
H&A provided wastewater system evaluation
and recommendations regarding the rehabilitation of an antiquated
sewer collection system for the Lake Siskiyou Campground. H&A
reviewed previous reports and findings, and was able to recommend
cost-effective alternatives saving over half a million dollars
in construction costs.
Our services included the preparation of a preliminary facility
plan and feasibility study, final design including retrofits
to an existing pump station with a backup emergency generator,
a new pump station, and forcemain pipeline. In addition, H&A
provided construction management, inspection and contract administration
services.
This project allowed the campground to remain open and avoided
costly cleanups and fines associated with sanitary sewer overflows.
