Reclaimed Water Design

Project Description:
This project involved the design for land application of treated wastewater from Beale AFB Waste Water Treatment Plant. Wastewater Treatment Plant

This project was undertaken to eliminate expensive upgrades to the WWTP in order to comply with new lower surface water discharge limits being imposed by the California Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.

Through this design project Beale AFB will be able to construct additional pump station improvements and new ponds for storage and recycling of reclaimed wastewater for golf course irrigation.

This project is cost effective and has obviated the need for new expensive upgrades to the WWTP while conserving and economically reusing reclaimed wastewater.
