Haling & Associates has an immediate vacancy for a full-time Assistant/Associate Engineer in Chico, CA.  The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the basic principles and practices of civil and environmental engineering including; principles and practices of land development, water distribution and supply systems, onsite wastewater system design, and knowledge of remedial approaches and remediation systems.  Past project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include performing project tasks related to the investigation and remediation of environmentally impacted sites, preparation of remediation work plans and reports, and the development and review of civil engineering plans, designs and specifications.  Candidates will be working on various monitoring and remediation projects for Federal, Municipal, and private clients.

A qualified candidate will possess 0-6 years of professional civil engineering/consulting experience and a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in civil engineering or a related field.  Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations are a must.
